QLD:Lessons for government from Yasi: Bligh

TULLY, Qld, Feb 22 AAP - Queensland Premier Anna Bligh has toured cyclone-devastated
far north Queensland, praising recovery workers but admitting the government had lessons
to learn from Cyclone Yasi.

Ms Bligh flew into Innisfail on Tuesday before meeting with cyclone-affected residents
and volunteers at the Tully Recovery Centre.

The premier then toured the seaside village of Tully Heads, which was virtually destroyed
by a storm surge from the category five cyclone which hit the region earlier this month.
